I’m off to London for the week on a training course. Sounds good….except it’s an Exchange training course.

To Sun people reading this, no, we aren’t dropping JES (yet) but Exchange is just going to be a whole lot less hassle for staff who just “want Outlook to work”. Outlook connector is still a slightly random collection of bugs loosely held together with some bits of nearly working code and waiting months for fixes is just getting us down.

To those people who have asked me what happened with our Sun JES renewal lets just say they came up with a somewhat more realistic charge after we pointed out (on here and elsewhere) some of the issues…we have signed up for several more years.

Anyone in lodnod want to meet up give me a shout. We are staying in County Hall (embankment/waterloo) but can travel if food and beer are available at the destination

I guess I ought to think about packing as I’m on the 6:tooearlyexception train in the morning :-/
