Seeing as expansys were dumping stock of the nokia n770 for about 70 quid I couldn’t resist (they’ve sold out now btw).

It’s rather shiny Wireless works well but I had a bit of hassle getting it to work with my mobile on T-mobile web and walk. For anyone else struggling, go through the set up wizard and select uk and then tmobile. This will create an entry that doesn’t actually work but it does fill in most of the fields for you. Then go to controlpanel -> connectivity -> connections and select the entry called “T-Mobile Internet” that the wizard will have created. Edit this, check it’s set to “Packet data” and on the next screen change the Dial-up number from *99***1# to *99***3# and click finish. It should then work. Not sure if this is GPRS only though - I’m not in a 3G area so can’t test that at the mo.

This all worked on my k800i and my n770. YMMV
