Cash back from nursery - yay!
Becca’s nursery rang us today to ask if we realised that we had paid them twice last month. Seems I sent in a cheque for £482 and then a few days later mich sent one in as well. It’s only now they have attempting to sort the books for the last month that they have discovered this. Excellent ![]()
It’s Becca’s second birthday tomorrow and today she started “Big Nursery” instead of the baby unit. She seems indifferent as always. Just about managed to wave goodbye this morning but only when pushed - complete opposite to sprog1 who was always a pain to leave at nursery. Still, I suspect that in some ways, the staff in the baby unit are pleased she has moved on up. They recently commented that she was “very independant and strong willed”. I think they mean she is a stroppy, awkward argumentive individual - guess she gets that from her mother ![]()

Don’t worry, it’s a girl thing. We have two daughters described in a similar way.
They just get worse with age. I keep being told “wait until they are teenage”. A prospect I look forward to like a man waiting for the gallows.
