Carpet clean woooo!
Ok, why haven’t I hired one of these before? 15 mins of it scrubbing the carpet and it looks better than it has done in ages. Of course, had to run it longer that 15 mins as it has a funky hour counter that I needed to make sure clocked up 
Bit of a bugger doing the stairs though - had to scrub them by hand 
Whole thing took a little longer than planned due to a) sprog 1 being replaced over night by the spawn of the devil and b) michs last remaining guinea pig deciding to peg out (finally - it’s been ill for a while :-(). Anyway, having to dig a hole to burry small rodent delayed carpet cleaning for a while. And why do they only die when it is pissing it down? Maybe I should have stored it in the freezer for better weather
Anyway, carpet is now reasonably clean and is pretty much dry. Also, I may have found the source of the rather nasty whiff that carpet cleaners *always* seem to have - the antifoam stuff that I had to put in the output tank smells just like piss…at 7 quid a bottle expensive piss but piss all the same.
Day off tomorrow as Jake has a training day thing at school. I had planned to fit new pads and disks to my car and then we could go to the zoo but given the weather is looking like being grim grim grim I dunno now. Jake wants to go to Bluewater (!) to go in the All star activity thingy that I was going to take him in ages ago when we have an hour to kill but it was closed. Looks a bit pap to me and I really don’t fancy a trip all the way up there is it is crap. ho hum….
