Day off work yesterday so we could all head to Legoland. Jake wanted to go so I had to tag along (I wasn’t at all keen you understand). Once again we cashed in some of our Tesco clubcard vouchers and got free tickets (20 quids worth of Tesco vouchers exchanged for over 60 quids worth of tickets – bargain!)
We did go last year but made the mistake to go on one of the hotest days of the year and also smack back in the middle of August. Mistake. The place was heaving. This year we went on a rainy Thursday in term time. Much better.
I always feel slightly disappointed at the general lack of lego at the place but I guess it’s somewhat of a childhood dream that the entire place is built from the stuff. There is a *lot* of lego there really but I did manage to find an alien – while queueing for the boating school I noticed a Megablock in the trays of lego. The assistant on the ride took it away promising to humanely kill it around the back of the ride
