more progress
Went to visit Ethan last night. Only allowed 20 mins but to be honest, that was more than enough in the oven that is special baby care unit. Ethan slept all of the time and despite my mums claim that he looks like Jake (errrrr….how the hell would that happen?) I reckon he just looks like a baby (ie. wrinkly and like a mini Winston Churchill).
Deb has now been allowed to go home but Ethan will be staying there for a while. He has now had his blood pressure widget removed and his food drip. He still has an antibiotic drip and is being fed through an unbelievably thin pipe through his nose. He is still plumbed into several machines that go “ping” regularly (cue sketch…). The air trapped in his chest is apparantly going slowly so hopefully he won’t need an op to sort that. All looking good…
