ebay scam
Bought a powerbook today from someone who works on our helpdesk. Shiny.
Anyway, a few minutes after I bid on ebay I get this email:

What do you know? He has an exact same spec powerbook (in fact, he appears to have cut’n'pasted the same item number…) as I was attempting to buy but for half the price! Bargain and oh so convincing.
Come on guys, if you are going to attempt to con people, at least be a little more convincing.

Forward the email to ebay and they should remove its account

Did that. But the text wrapped around the email from ebay makes it fairly clear they don’t actually care and just tells me not to reply
