Last night a few of use from work went out for a curry while Trev is still capable (well, partially capable anyway). Good evening and was great to meet up with dajm and robin again (as well as finally meeting the mysterious JJ) and in general pretty much a success. Can’t say I would recommend the Chicken Tikka Biriani though - a tad tastless. Chicken tikka jalfrezi was excellent however (thanks to Mr Tanner for the tip) and the Chicken madra was pretty good as well. hmmmmm…..we appear to have had a bit of a chicken theme it appears…
Service however was pretty crap. It took an age to bring us our food. Not sure I’d bother going there again TBH.
Woke up this morning at 6 and opened the curtains to find a burnt out car dumped in the park entrance. It wasn’t there when I went to bed at 00:30 last night but I didn’t hear anything…
I do have vague memories of seeing flashing yellow lights at around 4am but no blue ones. Given the amount of water laying around it certainly appears that the fire brigade where involved. ho hum.
Something on the BBC site struck me as a little odd this morning.
The survey, commissioned by Telewest Business, found that only 1% of people have contacted their MP via e-mail.
1%? That seems very high to me. Maybe they have rounded up
