Saw Jack Dee last night at the Gulb (yes, I know the website is awful). Pretty good and particularly nice to see him playing a small venue. His observations of the chavs in Sturry Road and the fact that every house has a kitchen appliance in the garden were spot on 
A couple of the tickets were put up on Ebay for comic Relief and eventually went for £315 ! Turns out that the winner was a student…. congrats to him for winning and it’s a very generous donation to Comic Relief but 300 quid??? What sort of student has 300 quid kicking around?? Thats more than many have a term! This fact was obviously picked up by Jack as well and was the cause of some amusement. Final quote of the night goes to Lorrainne who admited 5 mins before the show that she doesn’t really like comedians: “It was ok – some bits were funny”.
Good trip into work this morning. For some reason the roads were clear. Nice cold morning, dry roads, a greatest Rock album in the universe ever volume 12 cranked up loud and a chance to check the rev limiter still works Not even too many novanobs this morning. Splendid.
