Got payslip yesterday. Still no money for the cover that we provided over the Christmas break. This is the second month that we have been promised it and still nowt 
This irritated me a little (well, a lot actually) so I did a bit of poking around. It seems that payroll know absolutely nothing about this additional payment. That explains why it hasn’t turned up I guess. Boss claims that personnel were supposed to be telling payroll and obviously haven’t. Now, this wouldn’t be the first time that our personnel dept have slipped up so this is totally plausable. I’ve now asked for payment to be made by cheque ASAP (payroll claim this is perfectly possible).
I’m not holding out too much hope just yet…we shall see.
