… shit
Well, the wallpaper is coming off of the wall. Unfortunatly the wallpaper is more firmly attached to the plaster than the plaster is to the wall
The best wall looks like this - the others are much worse
And yes, I know the photo needs rotating but come on, if you are sad [...]

Appraisal time again…

Wednesday, January 19th, 2005

Had my appraisal at work today. As always, a depressing list of projects not quite finished due to lack of resources followed by a long list of future projects that this time next year we can mark down as not quite finished.
Still, all good fun.

Saturday, January 15th, 2005

Why are mobile phone contracts so bloody complex? The 12 months on my current O2 online contract finished in Dec so I am looking around for an upgrade. Problem is, I still like the T610 and can’t find anything that I like more. I would however like to save a bit on the monthly payment [...]

I wonder if I can clasify a new ring main as simply a series of “installing and additional socket” ?

STOP PRESS: Jesus slightly gay

Saturday, January 8th, 2005

Finally, some time off work. Next week is hardly a week of lazing about though - got to finish rewiring the bedroom and attempt to plaster the wall that fell apart while I was chasing the light conduit into the wall….oh, and decorate and fit a carpet instead of the manky dog hair infested thing [...]

Part P

Wednesday, January 5th, 2005

As some of you may know, on the 1st of Jan Part P building regs came into force which basically restricts (drastically) what electrical work you can do without getting building control involved (ie, without paying the council for a piece of paper and a sparky a callout charge to sign a certificate). You can [...]
