Why do I never seem to be able to survive an entire Christmas/new year holiday without getting ill?
Anyway, despite my bunged up head and general shite feeling I managed to drag myself first to Hastings argos to collect a 7075 for Jake and then on to Dover to pickup 8436. Both at half price or less thus continuing my mission of collecting as much lego as possible but never paying more than half rrp. 8436 came in a less than 3p a component as well – result!
Even Mich has commented on them being bargains…although I’m still not allowed to open mine 
Made myself feel slightly less guilty about wasting (I mean investing) in toys by donating to the tsunami fund.
Finally sorted through the mass of presents that Jake and Rebecca got – Jake has condemned several bin bags full of “baby toys” to the charity shops of Folkestone. Not quite sure what my mum was attempting to tell mich by giving her this candle though…
